During the week of February 16^th, we celebrated “I LOVE to Read and Write Week.” Every day we had guest readers in nearly every classroom. We had 57 guest readers during that week, including many parents, several staff members, John Alberghini, Jen Botzojorns, Anne Moorwood, Sandy Heyman and many more! Students were glued to the stories and voices of our guest readers. We also enjoyed an entire day with guest author Jan Reynolds. Her books are mostly informational texts retelling her adventures from around the globe. It was a terrific week filled with many extra reading and writing opportunities.
