Brewster-Pierce girls cross the 5K finish line!

Yesterday, a beautiful Saturday in June, the Girls On The Run team
from Brewster-Pierce Memorial School
headed to the Fair Grounds in Essex to participate in the 5K Run/Walk.
Despite a few unexpected injuries, the team remained strong and even those unable to run/walk cheered on their teammates with smiles on their faces.
It was a wonderful day and an amazing culmination of ten weeks of hard work and fun learning about: setting goals, being strong and having FUN being active!
THANK YOU Coaches...this isn't possible without you.
If you see the girls this week, take a moment to celebrate their great accomplishment.
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone on the Girls On The Run team!
